Making time

I made time today to connect and converse with friends.  A bit of making fit in the in-between spaces in my day - a frame for my latest collage...

...and glazes for these small pots - they will be cream and lavender colored when they are fired.

My son was very patient as we took several detours in our ride home from picking him up at school.

I haven't done much collage in a while.  It is good to get back to it.  Here is a winter sky I am creating for a friend who liked one of my images that sold at Huntley Meadows.  This one will be similar.  Black branches are the next step...

Reflection

Today was a full day - Chad and the kids worked at the tree sale and I was back and forth checking in at home and walking dogs. 

In the afternoon I took a couple hours to go see a ceramics show and take a quick walk at Huntley Meadows.  I love the sky and colors of the reeds in this, one of my favorite spots.
